Accolades continue to roll in for Chamique Holdsclaw and her Tennessee Lady Vols teammates. This week's issue of Sports Illustrated magazine names Holdsclaw as women's college basketball player of the year. She was the consensus player of the year last season after leading the Lady Vols to an undefeated season and their third consecutive national championship, and she is the favorite to repeat when all awards are in after this season. Holdsclaw is averaging 21 points per game for the No. 2-ranked Lady Vols (28-2).
