Mystics holds on to beat Liberty

Nikki McCray scored 16 points, and Chamique Holdsclaw added 14 as the Washington Mystics rallied in the second half to defeat the New York Liberty, 71-63.

McCray helped spark a 10-point Washington run early in the second half, and Holdsclaw scored 10 of the team's final 23 points as the Mystics held on for their second victory of the season over New York.

McCray also had nine assists. Holdsclaw was five of seven from the field in the second half and also added seven rebounds, taking over the game in the final minutes.
